I now believe what I've been told. The first thing you do before booking a church is book Bill's Toupee for the reception. Great music surrounded our daughters' wedding last week and I just wanted to thank you all. We've received many calls from attendees complementing us on the wedding and the choice of band. The Bill's Toupee Band was a great hit at our daughter's wedding reception. You really understood what moved our crowd and you gave it to them. I am delighted that you could adapt your play list so quickly to keep everyone on the dance floor. Desaree is wonderful. Her interpersonal skills make her such an asset. She set the pace of the reception and moved us smoothly from introductions, first dance, toasts, through all the events to last dance! We had so much fun on the last dance, Sweet Caroline. You even slowed the tempo of the chorus so that the gang on the dance floor could sing along (in their own fashion of grunts and hoots)! Everyone was having so much fun, and that says a lot because during the entire reception the dancing group ranged from 12 years of age to 80 plus years! Doing business with you has been a real pleasure. I appreciate I did not have to do any "hand holding" either before or during the reception. You always knew what was needed and never bothered me with the details! The experience and professionalism of Desaree and The Bill's Toupee Band made my role as mother of the bride so much easier. I was free to enjoy the party!

I've heard nothing but praise from all I spoke to. My friends and family
would call and tell me what a great time they had. While planning wedding
people would say "why don't you get a DJ" much cheaper, I thought "
There's nothing like a live band" you have proved me right, thanks.

What a party. You guys are fantastic ! I've heard a lot of bands and played in a few but you guys take the cake. The musicianship, the vocals, the sound and volume levels were perfect. The energy you exude surpasses any band I've ever seen. I had several friends there, who are musicians, and they all said the same thing. In addition, your professionalism and graciousness at handling our many and sometimes uncommon requests was greatly appreciated. I occasionally get asked to recommend bands for weddings and other events. You are on the top of the list. Jessica and Joey were extremely happy.

It was my assumption from the start that the band would make the day and I was right on target. We heard you folks at Mohonk over Christmas and proceeded to build our wedding plans around your available dates. Thank you for the CD's, and for the fabulous music you provided for our sons' engagement party on New Year's Day. When you kicked it up, everyone from ages 14 through 84 was out on the dance floor! When I first hesitated to contract with you due to cost, saying that this was only an engagement party, you said to me "Jean, long after you and Richard have forgotten the cost, you'll remember the music." I wanted to say that I think you and your band are more than excellent. I attended the May 21st wedding of Dana and Michael Berini. I was very impressed with the wedding ceremony and the reception. The thing that stays in my minds eye, is the great time I had listening to your music. For 70 yrs, I have attended many affairs and I can't remember a better band. Just want to thank you for the wonderful performance -- very well done at
our daughter's wedding on August 30th at Montgomery Place. I've heard
many comments from all ages about how great the band was & "the most fun
wedding." Thank you for your good humor & patience with some of our more
exuberant guest. When I heard you at a friends wedding it sealed it for
me. You are so good that you are drawn to the dance floor..not so loud
that your head pounds. My bad knee is finally recuperating though.

Our heartfelt thanks to the talented members of "Bill's Toupee" for making Jill and Greg's wedding reception at the Canfield Casino an evening we'll never forget! You certainly delivered on your promise to "get everyone up and onto the dance floor." Wherever we turned, guests were continuously asking us who the fantastic band was and how did we ever find them. Your lively pace and great selection of music kept the dance floor filled throughout the evening. We can't wait to see all the great "action shots" our photographer got of this partying group as we danced the night away! It's 4 days following the wedding and we're still getting calls from friends and family about the band and the music selection! What fun we all had! It was great to look around and see so many people on the dance floor...as well as to see the band smiling! We've been to so many events where the band almost looks bored...but you looked like you were having a good time too! On what was the hottest day of the summer, Bill's Toupee read the
situation perfectly. The music flowed at just the right pace, seamlessly
integrating the different phases of the event along with varied
generational tastes in music.
The evening climaxed in a rousing dancefest for the younger wedding attendees with the band's infectious enthusiasm spilling over on to the dance floor. We got nothing but praise for the band from the guests with even the wedding planner at the Inn At Mystic going out of her way to comment on how good they were. This band handles it all with class, skill and enthusiasm - As the father of the groom, and a respected professional musician, my reputation was on the line in recommending Bill's Toupee for the job. All I know is that every time I looked around people were smiling and

thought a live band could sound so good! We were afraid a band

I am the mother of the groom, Stanley-Dueck wedding on September 29 in
Washingtonville, NY. I just want to thank you for a job very well done.
A new experience for me was your involvement with the cutting of the
cake, tossing the bouquet and the garter, introduction of wedding party,
etc., and that was just a lot of fun. You are an exceptionally good
