Last saw your band play at Front Street over the summer (July) and had a great time. You guys need to play more in the local pubs or have a mailing alert list so we know where to find your next gig! :-) |

Mike,
The fact that you offer such a diverse range of music is what separates you from the rest, singling yourselves out as the uniquely talented and great performers that you are individually as well as collectively, blending for a sound that is truly unmatched.
Looking forward to enjoying you guys at the Newburgh waterfront very soon.

I know I am late in going to the site Desaree and please don't physically hurt me as I am in enough pain as is. But I am finally here so, when are you playing Poughkeepsie area again so I can see if I can come by? |

Hey Mike:
It was good to catch you guys for the first time in years. You all
sounded excellent. In particular, I appreciate your craftsmanship, more
so because you all make it look so easy. You guys were like a breathe of
fresh air in your onstage presence and professionalism.
Seemed like most of the audience at the Ramada was 40 and above and it was
cool to see the audience losing 20-30 years mentally and physically. It
was a nice crowd and was probably a lot of fun for you guys too. I'm a
blue-eyed soul, rock kind of guy, but I enjoyed a lot of the dance music
you played. You did a good job picking the good stuff without getting
cheesy. I came in at the beginning of the Michael Jackson medley. He's
an odd man, but he sure created some awesome stuff and you guys did a
great job with it. That was the first time I'd seen Desaree sing with you
and she did an excellent job on her songs and plays a mean cowbell.
I overheard a lot of nice comments from people in the audience, one who
struck up a conversation with me out of the blue just to tell me he used
to be a musician and was very impressed with how tight you guys were. My
only complaint was that it was so crowded, it was tough to watch you
in action. Will try to catch you all again soon.

To Mike Mindel and the Bill's Toupee Band -
I have to tell you that your performance at our kids' reception this past weekend was simply outstanding! Your musicianship, showmanship and energy really made their special day even more so. Thanks so much on behalf of the Flowers and Weber families and all of our friends who were there -- every single person I talked to just raved about you guys! I also want to thank you for extending for an extra set, even though I understand that some of you were under the weather (we couldn't tell!). Special thanks to Desaree for her extra care in handling the wedding party intro's, and to my fellow Tower of Power lover Mike for being so easy to work with! |
| |
Just a quick note to thank you for the "hair" raising performance at our corporate event. We needed "undetecable" background music and everyone was "spot" on. Oh and thanks for keeping the high speed fans directed away from our clients as that tends to make them a little nervous
|
| |
What can I say that you don't already know....You are all fabulous!
Thank You for putting the celebration in our Birthday party......
Mike, you were great to work and so easy going....it comes natural when you do something you love....I still want to call you Bill instead of Mike!
Regards

I now believe what I've been told. The first thing you do before booking a church is book Bill's Toupee for the reception.
Great music surrounded our daughters' wedding last week and I just wanted to thank you all. We've received many calls from attendees complementing us on the wedding and the choice of band.
Great party..........

Your music at our daugher's wedding reception was fabulous. Everyone has commented how much they enjoyed you and how much fun they had. It was an event that will be long remembered. Thank you for the wonderful memories that we'll cherish forever!! Mike and Linda Boyer |

I'd like to know if William Shatner is the inspiration for your band name and if not which one in your band wears a rug. |
| |
Individually and collectively you are not only very accomplished, talented and entertaining, you re-create the music you perform with a very special unique touch of your own that is very refreshing, exciting and captivating.
Looking forward to seeing you again at a club in the Orange County area. |
